Welcome to the 2024 World Forum for Automobile Museums, which will be held for the first time in Asia.
Together with an executive committee comprising the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association (JAMA)
representing 12 Japanese Auto manufacturers and two motorcycle manufacturers, the National Museum of Science and Nature
and the Nagoya City Science Museum, we are pleased to collectively present the World Forum.
Programing over the two-day conference, which takes place from October 29 to November 1, 2024.
The organization has split the formal lectures part with an additional tour to offer the flexibility to attendees to limit the expenses
and add more flexibility.
An additional tour of motor museums is offered to participants who wish to expand the 2024 edition with more networking opportunities
and cultural exchange. This optional tour will be held from 26 October till the start of the formal program on 29 October.
At the Toyota Automobile Museum (Nagakute City, Aichi Prefecture) and the Fuji Motorsports Museum (Oyama-cho, Shizuoka Prefecture), features unique insight through lectures on heritage, future, Japaneseness,etc., panel discussions, guided tours for the valuable archives, outdoor exhibition of historic cars contributed by the executive member companies and more.
These programs aim to truly encapsulate the theme of “finding innovation from tradition”, offering fulfilling experience for all participants.

【Event Report】 First "World Forum for Motor Museums Conference" in Asia Highlights Japanese Automotive Culture and Global Appeal The "2024 World Forum for Motor Museums" (WFFMM) was jointly held by the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association (JAMA), which represents Japanese automakers, and the Japan Council of Science Museums, which includes the National Museum of Nature and Science, Tuesday, October 29 to Friday, November 1, 2024. The event brought together approximately 200 participants from 17 countries.
